Instructions on how to register are available in the OneCPD Learn User Guide.
Please note that submitting a registration request does not guarantee you a seat at the training.
You will receive a confirmation email if you are accepted into the training.
Note: Do not make nonrefundable or non-cancellable travel arrangements—including but not limited to airfare, train fare, rental car, and hotel reservations—prior to receiving official confirmation that your registration has been approved.
Who should attend?
The workshop is primarily for CHDOs. CHDO registration must be approved by the PJ. The training is limited to CHDOs that meet one or more of these criteria:
- The organization has previously been designated as a CHDO by the PJ and been funded from the CHDO set-aside at least once since January 1, 2011
- The organization is one with whom the PJ is actively working toward an award of HOME funds
A limited number of spaces will be available for PJ staff to attend the workshops with their CHDOs. To accommodate as many organizations as possible attendance may be limited to one individual per organization. Please keep in mind the following items when planning your organization’s attendance at this event:
- PJ staff may attend only if a CHDO from their jurisdiction also attends; and
- Training organizers will be asking PJs to verify that CHDOs that have registered meet the criteria
Travel Scholarship Program
To ensure that CHDOs with budgetary limitations are able to attend the workshops, travel scholarships are available to CHDOs located more than 50 miles from the workshop location. Subject to program limitations, CHDOs can request scholarship assistance to cover eligible transportation and lodging costs.
All CHDOs who submit a registration request will receive information about travel scholarships when their request is processed. To learn more about the scholarships, see the CHDO Travel Scholarship Program Statement.
