Alliance Honors New York City and New Orleans for Reducing Veteran Homelessness In the last three years, 15 of the country's largest metropolitan areas, including New York and New Orleans, have cut their numbers of veterans experiencing homelessness by more than 50 percent. As part of the Alliance's Never Another Homeless Veteran campaign , the Alliance recognized the cities of New York and New Orleans and other communities at our 2014 Annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 5, for achieving these historic reductions in veteran homelessness.
