Rapid Re-housing Case Management and Services
On Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. ET, the Alliance will host a webinar on case management and services for rapid re-housing providers. The webinar, "Core Components of Rapid Re-Housing: Case Management and Services," will be the third of a three-part series of webinars on the "Core Components of Rapid Re-Housing." Speakers will examine how providers are delivering case management and services as part of a rapid re-housing intervention.
This month HUD released a supplement to its 2013 Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress that provides one-year estimates of the number of homeless people who sought shelter in the nation's crisis system in 2013, as well as information about their demographics. According to the report, the number of people who used emergency shelters in 2013 had declined by 4 percent since 2012 and had declined 11 percent since 2007.
