It is the one independent magazine that covers community development comprehensively, from affordable housing to economic development, from arts and culture to transportation, and from environmental justice to health, safety, and education. We cover these issues the way you live them--integrated and comprehensive.  In addition to our quarterly magazine Shelterforce, we publish Shelterforce Weekly and Rooflines, our growing and provocative blog that brings together the many voices of community development.
