HUD Announces Notice of Intent to Conduct Project Demonstration on Violence Against Women and HIV/AIDS Housing  WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced it will take the next step toward an exploratory grant program to assist low-income victims of domestic violence living with HIV/AIDS. HUD released a notice of intent to fund demonstration projects focused on helping this population. The Department shared the announcement on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at a White House event to commemorate National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The purpose of the notice is to solicit public comment on an exploratory grant program designed to strategically coordinate the expertise and resources of HIV/AIDS housing providers and domestic violence and sexual assault service providers . This public offering will enable state and local government Section 108 borrowers to obtain long-term, fixed rate financing for approved community and economic development projects. Updates on the 2015 HIC and PIT Data Submission Process and New PIT Resources Available Submitting 2015 HIC and PIT Data in the HUD Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX) Continuums of Care (CoCs) may begin entering their 2015 Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) count data into HUD’s Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX) web portal on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 .
