SSVF will be introducing our new software vendor, M Davis and Company, who will support the SSVF Participant Survey process. They will present the new procedures for the distribution and collection of the SSVF surveys. There will be time for live questions and answers upon the completion of the presentation by M Davis and Company. After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the webinar.
SSVF Program Updates Now available on our Website
The SSVF Program Office is pleased to announce that our Program Updates you receive via email will now be stored on the SSVF website. Currently, Program Updates from the beginning of FY2016 (October 2015 to present) are posted and available at:
http://www.va.gov/homeless/ssvf/?page=/ssvf_university/ssvf_programupdates_library
We will update this webpage weekly to ensure grantees and their program staff have a chance to review any weekly updates they may have missed. Additionally, please note that the VA will soon be launching a new media server, which may result in the inaccessibility of certain videos for a short period of time. We anticipate there will be no more than 48 hours of down-time during this transition. VA has informed us that the new media server will go live this month, however, we do not have an exact date/time. Rest assured that the SSVF Program Office will inform grantees of the date/time as soon as we have that information. In preparation for this transition, we encourage grantees to download any videos that they would like to continuous access to so as to limit the impact of this process on their program.
Reminder: VA's Guidance Regarding Read Only and Direct Entry access to HMIS
In September 2015, VA's Homeless Program Office released national guidance regarding VAMC staff seeking read only and/or direct entry access to a CoC's HMIS. Please review the guidance that was shared with SSVF grantees in the SSVF Program Update from September 3, 2015/ https://www.va.gov/HOMELESS/ssvf/docs/VA_Releases_Guidance_on_HMIS.pdf
NOTE: If you are receiving this email in error, please disregard. We request your patience as the SSVF Program Office continues to address system issues with the grants management database.
Thank you,
SSVF Program Office
