Save the Date and Call For Proposals!
The National Human Services Data Consortium (NHSDC) will be holding its Fall Conference on October 13-14, 2016, in New Orleans, LA.
Call for Session Proposals NHSDC provides information, assistance, peer education, and lifelong learning to its membership and other interested parties in the articulation, planning, implementation, and continuous operation of technology initiatives to collect, aggregate, analyze, and present information regarding the provision of human services.
In keeping with this year’s theme, Bridging Input to Impact: Learning from Data to Create Smarter Systems of Care, NHSDC welcomes session proposals with a new take on the growing need of communities to discover new ways of using data to connect service providers, expand the use of data beyond traditional boundaries and learn about tools and techniques organizations are using to achieve these initiatives.
Please read the Call for Proposals and submit your proposal for a conference session to the Online Proposal Link. Pre-Conference Institute Survey For the past year, communities across the country have worked diligently to integrate HMIS and RHYMIS platforms. A key challenge in integrating these systems is obtaining a youth’s consent to share information collected and ensuring that both youth and service providers fully understand what consent in this context means. To advance the dialogue on these issues, NHSDC is partnering with the National Network for Youth to organize a Youth Privacy Summit on October 12, 2016 (the day before our Fall Conference). We want to know how many of you would like to participate. Please use THIS LINK to complete this brief survey and let us know, who you are, your interest in the issues, your level of experience navigating these barriers, and whether you would to attend the Youth Privacy Summit. We look forward to seeing you in October!
