HMIS Clarification on Reporting for PATH For the last several years, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration’s (SAMHSA) Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) program has been encouraging PATH grantees to use a Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
