FY 2016 YHDP Competition: Last Day

Please do not wait until the last minute to submit your YHDP Application via grants.gov to HUD. The FY 2016 YHDP Applications are due today, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 by 11:59:59 PM EDT . Questions If you have questions related to the YHDP NOFA, please submit your questions to the CoC Program Ask A Question (AAQ) portal and specify in the subject line that the question is about YHDP. To submit a question to the CoC Program AAQ portal, select “CoC Program” from the “My question is related to” drop down list on Step 2 of the question submission process. The AAQ portal accepts question submissions 24/7. However, responses are usually provided between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, except for weekends and federal holidays. To ensure you receive a response to your YHDP question, please submit your question via the CoC AAQ no later than 12:00 PM EST on November 30th . PUBLIC NOTICE: Baltimore County Announces  Grant Opportunity for Community Development Programs   and Holds Public Hearing             Baltimore County invites non-profit organizations, government agencies and the general public to a meeting to discuss upcoming funding opportunities and spending priorities for housing and community development programs. The meeting, to be led by the Department of Planning, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016, in the basement (Genesis Hall) of St. Pius Church, 6428 York Road, Baltimore, MD, 21212.             Citizens and organizations will be asked to express their views on needs and spending priorities related to housing and community development for the coming fiscal year, 2018, during a public hearing that will begin at 10 a.m. Following the public hearing, County staff will discuss the process through which organizations may apply for grant funding. Mobile App to Support MAT for Opioid Use Disorder Opioid use disorder has become an increasing concern in the United States. As part of the HHS Opioid Initiative, SAMHSA developed MATx —a free mobile app that provides immediate access to information about medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder. MATx is a one-of-a-kind resource that will make it easier for practitioners to provide the effective, evidence-based care that their patients living with an opioid use disorder desperately need. There is 1 day remaining until the application submission deadline for the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) . The FY 2016 YHDP Applications are due tomorrow, November 30, 2016 by 11:59:59 PM EST . CoCs should allow ample time to complete the FY 2016 YHDP Applications, and not wait until the last minute to submit the Applications in grants.gov. HUD strongly recommends that Collaborative Applicants submit their applications at least 24 to 48 hours before the deadline. See Section IV. You can find an AIRS Taxonomy crosswalk and information on how updating the AIRS taxonomy affects your site via the Customer Information Portal.  Once logged into the Portal, click on "Documents" from the left navigation menu, then proceed to the ServicePoint > AIRS Taxonomy category to find the relevant information.
