Sharon Davies, director of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, has been appointed provost and vice president of academic affairs at Spelman College, effective June 1. Davies currently also serves as vice provost for Diversity and Inclusion and chief diversity officer at Ohio State University and is a member of OSU's Moritz College of Law faculty.

National Leased Housing Association Accepting Applications for Education Scholarships.
The NLHA Education Fund is awarding education grants and scholarships to low-income individuals residing in federally assisted rental housing. The NLHA Education Fund will offer four types of scholarships, one in recognition of one of the nation's largest affordable rental housing providers and three in memory of dedicated housing professionals and active NLHA members. Applications due April 17.
