The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is hosting a webinar titled PATH and SOAR Integration on April 20, 2017, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. (ET). The webinar is open to State PATH contacts, PATH providers and PATH provider alternates, and those in the SOAR community interested in better integrating SOAR into PATH services.
This webinar will explain the SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) program and offer strategies to PATH providers for helping clients obtain income and other mainstream supports. The presenters are Jen Elder, Senior Project Associate at Policy Research Associates, Inc.; Bob Currie, State PATH Contact and Director of Housing and Homeless Services for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health; Christy Spangler, SOAR Regional Coordinator and PATH Case Manager; and Brandon Anderson, PATH Coordinator for Rutherford County at Volunteer Behavioral Health Care System.
