Our Qlik Sense Team has been busy working on many "behind the scenes" tasks and projects since the last Qlik Sense release! We'd like to share a few important updates with you now.
First, we deployed a Qlik Sense version update last night (October 4, 2017) that includes the following corrections to the CallPoint structure in the data model:
  • Call Records that are not attached to Clients will now be included even if Dynamic (Assessment) data is not entered for the Client
  • Call Records that are not attached to Clients will now associate correctly to Services created on those Call Records.
  • Several Field Name updates (please note that if you have used any of these fields in any of your Sheets you will need to update your Sheet to reference the new name)
    • [Call Active] is now [Call is Active]
    • [Service Start Date] is now [Service Provide Start Date]
    • [Service Provider Provider Created By] is now [Service Provide Created By]
    • [Service Provider Provider Created By Id] is now [Service Provide Created By Id]
Second, we are continuing work on enforcing ServicePoint's data visibility model in Qlik Sense so that we can allow user roles other than SA II to access Qlik Sense. While development work on this has progressed, we have not completed this development as we had hoped by this time.
Third, we are excited to announce that we have contracted and have begun work with Qlik's Technical Services team to conduct a review of our data model, technical infrastructure, and overall deployment of Qlik Sense. They will complete their review this week. In addition to the analysis of how to best optimize our deployment, they will be providing us an estimate of time and effort to provide the technical assistance needed to continue forward progress with Qlik Sense development.
We look forward to providing you with more exciting updates as Qlik Sense development progresses in the coming weeks as timelines continue to become clearer.
