Catch all the updates » New Report Examines Racial Disparity in Homelessness One of the hot topics at the National Conference on Ending Family and Youth Homelessness was understanding and addressing racial disparity. The Center for Social Innovation, has released a new report highlighting the vast over-representation of African Americans, American Indians, and Alaska Natives among the homeless populations in the communities they examined. The report also identifies strategies to promote equity and reduce disparate outcomes in homeless services.
