HUD created the new Longitudinal Systems Analysis (LSA) report to enhance the ability of communities to review their Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data and to streamline how Continuums of Care (CoCs) provide their aggregated HMIS data to HUD for the Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR).
Communities will have until Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 8:00 PM EDT to preview and test the site in a beta version.
- Beta Test Schedule and Information
In order to give all CoCs time to get familiar with the new platform, the HDX 2.0 will be open until July 31, 2018. During this period CoCs will be given an opportunity to log into the site, explore the new layout and functionality, and upload a sample dataset. We invite your feedback on the process via the HUD Exchange Ask A Question (AAQ) portal.
- Login Information
All existing HDX users are already established as users in the new HDX 2.0. Users should have already received an auto-generated email from the HDX 2.0 with instructions about how to log into the new site. Simply follow the onscreen instructions for updating your password. For new users, please see the Login Information section of the Beta User Guide for specifics on registering in the new site.
- Materials Posted
Beta User Guide and Sample Upload File: HUD has developed an HDX 2.0 Beta User Guide that outlines some of the basic functionality of the site and the LSA module. Additionally, a sample LSA upload file is available for CoCs to load into the system. LSA Report Specifications and Tools: These tools, including written specifications and SQL code, were created to support HMIS software providers in programming the HMIS LSA report file. Additional LSA resources will be added over the coming weeks.
