Alliance conferences are an opportunity for the homelessness community — system leaders, providers, researchers, and those with lived experience — to learn from each other. That's why the Alliance offers scholarships each year for people who are currently or were recently homeless. Scholarships cover conference registration and travel expenses, including hotel accommodations.
As 2018 candidates talk about health care, education, and jobs, it's important to remember that none of those issues can be fully resolved without addressing our affordable housing crisis. On the blog, Alliance expert Noëlle Porter explains why we need federal policy — and engaged voters — to address housing and homelessness.
