LSA uploads are extracted directly from each Continuum of Care’s (CoC’s) Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Unlike with prior AHAR submissions, changes to data cannot be made manually. Therefore, to resolve data quality warnings in the HDX 2.0, CoCs will either need to write notes to explain why the data are accurate as they are, or fix any issues within their systems and re-upload the LSA files to the HDX 2.0. Please note:
-
Missing data rates in the Data Quality tables flagged as “not reporting” do not require a note to resolve
-
For official submission, CoCs must ensure their upload is marked as Official HUD Submission—not Local Use Only—before they will be able to submit
Please note that the submission deadline of 12/14 is only the beginning of a conversation with your LSA Data Liaison. There will be time and opportunity to re-upload revised reports after this date if you and your Data Liaison determine it to be necessary or desirable to improve your overall data quality.
If you have questions pertaining to the LSA or HDX 2.0, please submit your questions through the Ask A Question (AAQ) portal on the HUD Exchange website. Select “HDX: Homelessness Data Exchange” from the “My question is related to” dropdown list on Step 2 of the AAQ question submission process.
