HUD Job Opportunity: Director, Office of Block Grant Assistance
This position is in the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD), Deputy Assistant Secretary for Grant Programs, Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA). The OBGA is responsible for all aspects of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for Entitlement Communities, States and Small Cities, and Insular Areas in accordance with Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. The Office is responsible for a) the development of regulations, policies, procedures, guidelines, and/or technical assistance for CDBG program grantees and CPD Field Offices; b) the administration of the Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program; c) the administration of long term CDBG Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grants from supplemental appropriations; and, d) the design, development, and presentation of program training for field staff and grantees.
