With support from the AARP Foundation, CSH is pleased to announce its next Healthy Aging Academy. Building on several successful local academies on healthy aging, this new Academy takes learning and action to the next level by increasing the capacity of supportive, affordable housing and human services providers nationwide to help them meet the unique needs of elderly tenants.
Through this Academy, participants will:
- Identify and understand common issues associated with aging.
- Learn best practices and strategies for engaging and advocating for tenants.
- Connect to resources in local communities to better serve aging tenants.
Audience: This Academy is for case managers and supervisory staff in supportive and affordable housing projects serving older adults. It also can be useful for property management staff.
Schedule: The Academy will run from January - April 2019 and consists of 7 live virtual webinars.
Cost: $350 per agency (up to three individuals).
