HUD, in partnership with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP), is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the 2019 ACHP/HUD Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation. This award recognizes a project that has advanced the goals of historic preservation while promoting affordable housing, community revitalization, and/or enhanced economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income families.
Nominations must be completed electronically as a Word document and submitted by 11:59 PM PDT on April 30, 2019. For more information, including submission instructions, please view the award announcement. Projects must include HUD funding or financing and must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. Projects or activities that were completed or have made substantial achievements within the last three years are eligible.
The recipient of the 2019 ACHP/HUD Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation will be notified in September and will be honored at a special ceremony related to ACHP's business meeting in Fall 2019.
