There are more than 425K Veteran-centric discussions on the platform. It's a great place to ask (or answer!) questions like "How do I get my Army Medical Records to submit a VA claim?" "When does the VA pay out travel pay?" and "When can I expect my first disability check?"
TAPS seeks 'Good Grief Camp' mentors - can you help?
Honor Memorial Day by volunteering with Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). As we honor and pay tribute to the service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice, we also hold close the families left behind to carry on their legacy of service. Last year, hundreds of Veterans volunteered to mentor, this year TAPS has 600 children and teens attending the camp over Memorial Day Weekend, and each of them needs their own Military Mentor. Take this 25-min Suicide Prevention Course, Save a life
The PsychArmor S.A.V.E. training is a free, and it only takes 25 minutes! The course is designed in partnership with VA to help anyone learn how to identify the signs of suicide risk in a Veteran, ask the Veteran questions, validate the Veteran's experience, escort the Veteran to care, and expedite treatment. Patriot Boot Camp for Veteran tech-entrepreneurs is accepting applications
Patriot Boot Camp (PBC), presented by TechStars, is a 501(c)(3) providing free, 3-day intensive programs that connects military, Veteran and military-spouse tech entrepreneurs with mentors, education, and a peer network to support their entrepreneurial success. The next PBC will be held on August 23-25, 2019 near Salt Lake City, Utah. Attendees must arrange their own travel and lodging. Discuss on RallyPoint.
