VA announces final community care regulations under MISSION Act

Today the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced the publication in the Federal Register of two final regulations as part of its new Veterans Community Care Program under the VA Maintaining Internal Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks (MISSION) Act of 2018.

Free Talking Books Program for Eligible Veterans

Talking books, audio magazines, and the digital talking-book players needed to use them are provided free of charge, by mail, for as long as you're in the program. Any honorably discharged Veteran who is blind, has low vision, or a disability preventing the reading of traditional materials is eligible.
