Though the 2019 Point-in-Time (PIT) count submission closed just over a month ago many communities are already looking to the next count. HUD is hosting a PIT count office hours session on June 20, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM EDT.
This call will focus on planning for the PIT count and the tools Continuums of Care (CoCs) would like to have to train volunteers. HUD is working on adding more tools to help CoCs train volunteers and conduct counts. This session will highlight those tools and then open up to questions about planning for and conducting PIT counts.

This is a one-stop site where communities can access all of HUD’s guidance on how to plan and implement their PIT counts. The resources include the PIT Count Methodology Guide, survey tool resources, implementation resources, etc.
