HUD is pleased to announce a webinar explaining the requirements of CPD Notice 18-09 and §92.254(f) which require HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) to develop homebuyer program policies.

Training Objectives
Attendees will learn:
- Required elements of a PJ’s policies for buyer underwriting, responsible lending, and subordination
- Latest guidance on counseling for HOME-assisted buyers
- Special considerations when HOME assistance is provided through first-mortgage lenders
Who Should Attend?
HOME PJs and their subrecipients, state recipients, and Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) partners who manage HOME-funded homebuyer activities, including both direct buyer assistance (e.g. DPA) and the development of for-sale homebuyer housing should attend. Other development partners such as lenders are also welcome to participate.
