"Measuring Up: Youth-level Outcomes and Measures for System Responses to Youth Homelessness - A Findings Review"
Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 1:00pm - 3:00pm ET

Developed with the current evidence base and from the wisdom of diverse experts and stakeholders from across the country, this webinar will highlight findings from the Measuring Up: Youth-level Outcomes and Measures for System Responses to Youth Homelessness brief.

This first webinar in our Measuring Up series will present the best set of recommendations on credible, practice, and stakeholder-informed outcomes and measures aligned with the four core outcomes areas identified in United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) Framework to End Youth Homelessness. The framework includes stable housing, permanent connections, social-emotional well-being, and education & employment.

This webinar will walk participants through the brief and provide guidance on how to review the recommended outcomes and measures. This project is the result of a collaboration between Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago and Youth Collaboratory.

After this webinar participants will be able to:
  • Understand the scope of the project and the process to identify the recommended outcomes and measures.
  • Navigate the Youth Outcomes and Measures chart developed by the team based on accessibility, credibility, and validity of the recommended measures.
  • Discuss other considerations for uptake and integration into programming, funding strategy, and planning activities.
