New Notices of Funding Availability: Apply Now

Two new Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs) are now available for application. Learn more about each opportunity, and if your organization is eligible to apply.

Grant and Per Diem Programs (Department of Veterans Affairs)
The VA has announced a NOFA for its Grant and Per Diem (GPD) program, which funds transitional housing or service centers to veterans at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. This NOFA is expected to fund approximately 11,500 beds and 20 service center applications for applicants who will offer one or a combination of transitional housing bed models, and for applicants who will offer service centers. The GPD program is working to improve the transitional housing model to maximize its impact on ending homelessness for veterans.

Applications are due March 2, 2020; click here for more information.

Pet Assistance and Support Program (California Department of Housing and Community Development)
The Pet Assistance and Support (PAS) program NOFA provides $5 million in grants to qualified homeless shelters to provide shelter, food, and basic veterinary services for pets owned by individuals experiencing homelessness, along with the staffing and liability insurance necessary to providing those services.

The application is due March 2, 2020. Attend the PAS Application Webinar on January 9 to learn more. Note: this funding is only available to organizations in California.
