COORDINATED ENTRY: New ideas to meet HUD requirements [webinar]
Thursday, October 1 at 2 pm ET / 11 am PT
The latest coordinated entry data elements from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) have raised many questions among homelessness service providers about how to enhance their coordinated entry system.
This webinar will look at how the West Virginia Coalition to End Homelessness (WVCEH) is meeting this challenge. You will see the steps they took to design their program, the ways they bring together stakeholders from across the state, and how they address some of the most difficult aspects of the new HUD requirements, including:
- Standardized access to the system
- Creating a prioritization plan
- Designing a shared assessment tool
You will gain a framework to augment your coordinated system and build greater cooperation among health systems, law enforcement, and other service providers in your area. You can also ask questions about specific challenges you are facing.
