LSA Reminder and Office Hours – October 28, 2020 – 1:00 PM EDT

The Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX) 2.0 is open for Longitudinal System Analysis (LSA) submissions for the 2019 and 2020 LSA data collection process. Continuums of Care (CoCs) should make at least one upload attempt per reporting cycle by this Friday, October 30, 2020 at 8:00 PM EDT/5:00 PM PDT.

If you have attempted an upload and it has been rejected, you should download the error report from the HDX 2.0 and work with your vendor to resolve the errors identified in the report. To access the report, follow these steps:

  1. Select the ‘LSA’ tab in the top right corner
  2. Navigate to the ‘View All Datasets’ page
  3. In the ‘Upload Status’ column of the respective upload, select the ‘Rejected’ link, and then select ‘Print Error Report’

Upcoming Office Hours: Discussion of the LSA Submission Process

HUD will be hosting an informational office hours session on October 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM EDT to support CoCs in the upload process. This session will cover CoCs’ questions about the LSA process as received through HUD’s Ask A Question (AAQ) portal and through the session’s Q&A function.

Staff from Abt Associates will also open up the event to allow participants the opportunity to ask and submit any other questions they may have. It is an opportunity for CoCs to ask additional questions after having hands-on experience with the upload process.

Training Objectives

Upon completion of this training, participants should be able to describe the timeline and process for CoCs submitting 2019 and 2020 LSA data to the HDX 2.0.

Who Should Attend?

This training is intended for all CoC members who are responsible for reviewing or submitting their LSA data to HUD.

How to Join

  1. From your computer, join the webinar. We recommend that attendees connect to the session from a computer rather than a cell phone or tablet.
     
  2. Fill in your name and email address and click “Join Now.”
     
  3. You may prefer to choose “Join by Browser” which will not install any software or add any extensions to your computer. Depending on the browser you use, you might be asked to add a plug-in. If so, please click “add.”
     
  4. Click the “Connect Audio” icon at the bottom to hear the audio. You may:
    • Choose to hear the audio through your computer (recommended if your internet is strong)
    • Choose to have Webex call your phone by using Call Me
    • Dial Webex yourself by following the instructions to call in (not recommended)
