Increased FEMA Reimbursements for Non-Congregate Shelter


Yesterday, the White House released a memo stating that funding of non-congregate shelter for people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic is now 100% reimbursable until September 30. Previously, FEMA would reimburse 75% of the costs, while communities at the state and local levels would pay the rest.

Registration is now open for Ending Homelessness:  A Virtual Conference, a three-day virtual event taking place March 8 – 10, 2021.

The Conference will cover successful strategies in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, address emerging challenges, and explore innovative new ways to solve problems. Workshops and plenaries have been developed in concert with people who have experienced homelessness, and with a focus on race and equity.
